If you’re not paying attention, you might miss it: leap year day is upon us. Tomorrow it will be gone, and we’ll all have to wait until 2028 to experience it again.
How would you like to have a birthday on Feb. 29? Remy Tumin, who was born on leap day, writes, “Some might find the idea of a Feb. 29 birthday peculiar, even undesirable. We think it’s special. People who celebrate a birthday every year? We call them ‘annuals.’”
