The Times reports that there is a resurgence of interest in vintage clothes right now — partly because thrifting is “a fun way to play around without spending so much money (not to mention being conscious of sustainability).” But the article also suggests that playing with fashion after months of quarantine soothes “our collective ache to be noticed by other people again after feeling invisible for so long.”
