The 2020 Learning @ Scale (L@S) takes place on May 27 – 29, 2020 in Atlanta Georgia, at Georgia Tech Global Learning Center with a full workshop day on May 27, followed by two main conference days on May 28 – 29.
At L@S the learning experience of students is placed in the center of scientific exchange. This way the conference aims to get a better understanding of the learning habits of students and learn more about new measures for better learning outcomes and scalable learning opportunities.
Over the past 6 years the L@S community has been promoting scientific exchange as well as producing research on learning at scale. At the latest L@S 2019 in Chicago, keynote speakers Michael McPherson (President emeritus of the Spencer Foundation) and Candace Thille (Professor at Stanford University) set the frame to discuss research papers on student engagement, course assessment, and learning support.
The call for papers for L@S 2020 is out. The conference invites all contributions focusing on innovations in scaling and enhancing learning opportunities, empirical investigations as well as new technical systems for learning at scale.
