Today, alongside the release of our 2026 Micro-Credential Impact Report, I’m pleased to share 10 new micro-credentials on Coursera from leading university and industry partners around the world.
These credentials play an increasingly important role in the job market. Notably, our new report found that 85% of graduates secure a job in their field, and 94% of employers say they’d offer a higher starting salary to a micro-credential holder.
With micro-credential enrollments up nearly 50% over the last year, partners are responding with new Professional Certificates and Specializations that combine role-specific training with durable skills.

“While I had both entrepreneurial and product management experience, most of my skills were self-taught or learned on the job. I turned to Coursera to learn directly from experts and fill in those gaps. It made a huge difference for me. I picked up a lot of new skills, and found it much easier to get shortlisted for roles after completing the course. I was able to move into growth product management.”
—Debashis N., who completed the Software Product Management Specialization (University of Alberta)
