Google helps professionals become AI creators with new vibe coding course on Coursera

Today, Google is expanding its AI Professional Certificate on Coursera with their newest course on vibe coding that helps learners move from AI users to AI builders. 

For decades, building software required learning to code. But now, with vibe coding, AI is making it possible for professionals across industries to build applications that automate everyday work using natural language instead of traditional programming. As AI lowers ‌barriers to software creation, success depends less on the ability to write code and more on knowing how to think through problems, iterate on solutions, and build applications people can trust.

Designed and taught by experts at Google, this new course teaches a practical framework for planning, building, debugging, and deploying AI-powered applications using Google AI Studio, Gemini, and Gemini Canvas.

This course teaches concepts beyond one-click code generation, emphasizing the iterative process software developers use every day. Learners practice identifying the right opportunities for automation, transforming ideas into working prototypes, troubleshooting errors, and deploying secure applications that solve real workplace challenges.
