Each day we define a new vocabulary word, show how often it has appeared in The Times, highlight how it was used in a recent Times article, and then ask students to take a one-question quiz that tests whether they understand the word.
In addition, every year we invite students to participate in our annual Vocabulary Video Contest by creating a 15-second video that defines one of the words in our Word of the Day archive.
