ONE OF THE LESSON FROM COVID 19 IS THAT SAVING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT IN LIFE

Since the announcement of the first case of corona virus in Rwanda, different measures were taken to slow the spread of this disease such as closing of

schools and nonessential business since that day, the life of people living in Kigali were changed dramatically as the business was closed, some employees had to go to their village, most of them was stuck in a bus station called nyabugogo where they had to get the bus to their home but they were told that they are not allowed to live Kigali so they can not spread the virus in the districts from Kigali to rusizi district, the district where i come from was almost impossible and many people wanted to go there as it is very difficult for them to live in Kigali where they have to buy food, pay rent yet they are not working ( means that they will not get paid),i can understand some people like someone who gets 2000frw every day, but it is shameful for someone who goat 10000 frw everyday, who has no family to take care for and no child at school or have any investment .we are going to discuss some mistakes made  that shamed them in this crisis. i will use the case of the area i live in. in this place they are some  people who  used to get a wage of 5000 everyday but most of this money was not helping the family at all ,as they were using at most 2500 in drinks and cigarette, i used to tell them to stop drinking and making sure that they have enough money to take care of their family and improve their

Standard of living.now what i learnt from the result of all this is that now that after only 1 week of stopping working they are going to contact the local government to

put them on the list of poor people to be supported by the government, for them to get 3 kilos of rice,3 kilos of beans, soap and so on for 3days.this shows how poor

planning is a problem to the family, society, and the country.for example the government is going to look for help for people who are real poor and get money for those who managed the wages badly.

it is shameful to see i young man calling for help yet he/she worked for 4 years ,he has no land,he has no business, only what he paid was beer and other nonessential stuff

some of them left the village to find money ,they got opportunity to get it but instead of saving some money for any emergency situation they choose to spent it all,the reason why it is going to be very hard for them to live in Kigali something that will have a negative impact on their life as if this crisis continues some of them

will end up being thieves and then get caught and go to jail, put at risk they life and their family too.

by concluding I learnt from this crisis that saving is the most important think in life
