Students in U.S. high schools can get free digital access to The New York Times until Sept. 1, 2021.
The United States has a new national park, its 63rd. The National Park Service, created in 1916, oversees more than 400 areas across the country, including national monuments, seashores and battlefields as well as parks, which together total more than 85 million acres. But “national parks” are considered the crown jewels of the park system.
