Students in U.S. high schools can get free digital access to The New York Times until Sept. 1, 2021.

In April, the singer Dolly Parton donated $1 million to help fund research for a coronavirus vaccine. Last week, after Moderna announced its progress on a vaccine, legions of Ms. Parton’s fans have credited her with helping to save the world.
