Beach Days

Beach Days

Students in U.S. high schools can get free digital access to The New York Times until Sept. 1, 2021.

Summer is quickly approaching. Warmer weather coupled with rising vaccination numbers means that many people will be flocking to beaches across the country. How do you feel about beach days? Who do you usually go to the beach with? What sort of food do you eat there? How do you spend your time: swimming in the sea, surfing the waves, lounging in the sand or enjoying another activity?

Tell us in the comments, then look at the rest of this slide show illustrating the booming housing market in the Hamptons, a group of popular beach communities on the East End of Long Island.
