Celebrating Ramadan

Celebrating Ramadan

Students in U.S. high schools can get free digital access to The New York Times until Sept. 1, 2021.

The holy month of Ramadan began last week. Unlike last year, Ramadan 2021 will allow for communal experiences, uniting family and friends.

Do you celebrate Ramadan? If not, have you ever fasted, for religious or any other reason? What religious or spiritual traditions do you and your family or community observe? What does it mean to you to be able to gather with loved ones for holidays after more than a year of restrictions?

Tell us in the comments, then read the related article to learn more about Ramadan celebrations.
